Description:
This 90-minute immersive presentation explores the cutting-edge use of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy in couples, partnerships and family systems work. With a trauma-informed and restorative lens, this workshop dives deep into how MDMA can foster emotional safety, empathy, curiosity, and co-regulation—key ingredients for meaningful repair and relational healing.
We will examine MDMA’s neurobiological and psychological mechanisms that allow for the softening of defenses, increase in oxytocin and trust, and heightened access to coherence between partners or family members. Special emphasis will be placed on its unique potential to support healing in relationships impacted by trauma, including histories of emotional neglect, betrayal, sexual abuse, abandonment, and systemic harm.
Integrating modalities such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), parts work/IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy), therapeutic touch, and somatic techniques, participants will learn how to thoughtfully structure MDMA-assisted sessions that support vulnerability, accountability, and transformation.
This presentation also includes an overview of dosing protocols, safety considerations, current research, and ethical frameworks to ensure this work is done with the highest degree of integrity and care.
Whether you're a clinician, researcher, or community builder, this offering presents a powerful new frontier in relational therapy—one that invites a more compassionate, embodied, and liberatory approach to healing our most intimate bonds.
